The Knights Pearl ™
The runaway favorite of the Town Jewelry line is The Knight's Pearl, a beautiful set of jewelry designed to raise funds for the Sandwich Sports Complex Committee and to honor the generous donation given to that effort by the DeConto family in Sandwich, in memory of their son and brother, Captain Gerald F. DeConto, USN.
Jerry was a stand-out athlete at Sandwich High School, who went on to a distinguished naval military career.
He was coordinating the response to the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center when he was killed at the Pentagon. The pearl, the symbol of purity, transformation, charity, wisdom and integrity, celebrates his legacy, and his family's vision and committment to community. Only 2500 signed and numbered pieces will ever be available.
