"We Won't Stop Dancing Until We Find A Cure"

October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and "Think Pink" takes on a whole new meaning.  Every one of us has been affected by this illness, if not personally, than through someone we know and love.  This is our newest addition to the Colors of Hope line from Cape Cod Colors.  All net proceeds from the sale of this bracelet will go to a fine, local Cape Cod Group "Dancing for a Cure" who have been designated "Friends of the Dana Farber Cancer Center".  Dancing for a Cure has been raising money and awareness for Breast and Ovarian Cancer since 2006, and all the money they collect goes to the Dana Farber for reserach.  Click on the picture for more information about the bracelet, and about Dancing for a Cure.

 

 

 

We're so proud that we were able to participate and contribute to two extremely worth causes here in Sandwich and the South Shore this fall...

 Our Knight's Pearl jewelry has been a Sandwich favorite since 2006, and we've donated $11,500 from the sale of the beautiful Knight's Pearl for the Committee raising funds for the Memorial Stadium to be built at Sandwich High School.  Through public and private efforts, work will soon begin restoring the track at the high school. The 2nd Annual  girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. 5K Run/Walk took place on Saturday, September 25th, a gloriously beautiful day at Town Neck beach ( a little windy, but, beautiful none the less) girlygirl P.A.R.T.S.was founded by an ovarian cancer survivor here in Sandwich, raising awareness and funds earmarked to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center in Boston to look for an early screening test to detect this silent killer.  We sold out of our new girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. Cuff Bracelet before the race even started, and we able to contribute $1,500 to this organization in memory of a dear friend who lost her life to this cruel disease three years ago.

And in November we were welcomed by the Soul Sister Foundation in the lovely South Shore town of Kingston for their 5K Turkey Trot.  Over 1,000 runners came out on a brisk, beautiful morning to show their support for loved ones in their community affected by this desease.  We raised $600  to contribute to the Soul Sister's  donation to the Dana Farber.   To support either of these fine organizations, please click on the picture for more information.
