Delivery - Exchanges - Returns
Orders for in-stock items are generally shipped within 24–72 hours from the receipt of your order and payment. Custom or special-order products may require additional lead time. We use UPS shipping, because their service is reasonably priced, reliable, quick and insured. We will not use the US Postal Service, so we cannot ship to Post Office Boxes. Orders shipped to most locations in Massachusetts (except for extremely rural locations) will arrive within 24 hours of the ship date, so it is rarely necessary to request expedited delivery options. Please keep in mind that deliveries made to business addresses are less expensive than deliveries to residential addresses. UPS will not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, unless you are willing to pay stunningly expensive freight charges. Please call with other questions.
Heart of Stone is happy to make exchanges. We can only accept items for exchange that are in their original condition with their original tags and packaging. You can request an even exchange, an even dollar exchange in other merchandise, or a merchandise credit. Even exchanges and merchandise credits are shipped free freight. Even dollar exchange freight charges will depend on weight differential; please call for further information.
All returns require prior approval. We will refuse to accept any items returned to us without prior approval. The cost of returning items to us is the responsibility of the customer. We can only accept items for return that are in their original condition with their original tags and packaging. Missing tags and packaging will nullify the return. Jewelry that has been worn is not eligible for return. Returned merchandise must be received by Heart of Stone within 7 business days. Credit will be issued minus the original freight charge and a 20% restocking fee.
