Many women have made this their signature jewelry, and remember, pearl is the birthstone for June...        Click on the picture to find the  Mermaid's Moon Collection on our website, and on the upper right hand side of this email are some quick links to our Caregivers Jewelry, perfect for anyone going into our coming out of medical training, the always lovely Knight's Pearl,  and the ever-popular Celtic Jewelry - all keepsake pieces that will be worn for years to come.   Summer Party Snacks & Sips   The Summer Party Season pretty much begins this weekend, ready or not.  Barbeques, clambakes, picnics, company on the deck - we have a couple of new items that will make entertaining a little more interesting and tasty.   Never drank much tea until I went to London, but was then transformed.  And just in time, because the tea "industry" has expanded our choices in flavors and uses just as science finds it's healthy to drink more tea...          I found Petals Lemonade and Tea Mixes at the New York Gift Show and had to bring them in.  The traditional Lemonade is tart and tasty, and pleasingly, just a little sweet. Great for the kids, or as a mixer for some of those exotic blender concoctions with a lemonade base. The Peach Infused Black Tea shouts summer from the first sip; this will be a wonderful, icy treat on warm summer afternoons, and if you add it to a little ice, Peach Schnapps & Vodka in our giant stainless steel shaker, I'd say we'd be in "Peach Mar-tea-ni" heaven.     But, clearly, my favorite is the Mohito Mint. Uniquely tasty and refreshing on it's own, this baby begs for some fresh mint leaves crushed at the bottom with a schmoosh of crushed ice and a shot (or more, I don't judge) of clear rum.  This will be the signature drink on our deck this summer; the Mohit-tea-to.   So, now we'll need a little snack to go along with our beverage, and I present these fantastic Wind & Willows mixes - Armed with one of these babies and a little cream cheese, you can make cheese balls, spreads for sandwiches or toasted bread, dips for pretzles or fresh veggies or fruit .   Your choices run the gamut from savory -Spinach & Artichoke, Garlic & Herb, Tuscan Olive, Bruschetta - to sweet - White Chocolate & Amaretto Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie - appetizers or deserts.   This is my idea of a great summer "bring something" dish - you're invited over to sit around and watch the game, hang out on the deck, sit at the beach, on the boat, and you want to "bring something".  Easy to make, delicious, different.  And if the invite is from a good friend, or to a bigger occasion that calls for a hostess gift, you can make up a batch of this and present it in one of our dip and spreader sets - How cool will that make you?  We'll be trying a few of these out over the next few weekends, and when you bring in the coupon, you can Buy One and Get One Half Off, or Buy One and get 25% OFF a spreader set. This is clearly one of those items why we have our "One for them, One for me" rule.   Starfish and Mermaids and Shells....whoo hoo!   By now, all smart women (take a bow) know that it's all about the accessories - not just the ones that come all shiny in little boxes, but also the accessories for your home.    COLOR is the quickest way to make everything look new, and we've found some beautiful accents in soothing aquas, taupes, natural shell colors - from our gorgeous new quilted napkins and placemats to these stoneware serving pieces from Mud Pie.  Brown and Turquoise/Aqua is a hot combination in fashion and home decor this year, blending one of nature's most dominant, grounding colors with her most universally soothing and beautiful.  And those colors are beautifully juxtaposed in so much of the coastal decore this year - moving away from the familiar but predictable cottage white and bringing contrast and life into your home.   This collection includes little matching tid-bit plates, spreaders, paper napkins, powder room dispensers, towels and soaps.   But there's still plenty of neutral in coastal decor, and here are some great examples - our C2C Candlesticks, available in these beautiful sea bisquits,  the amazing sand dollar vase (this baby sits in my big room, presently stuffed with giant pussy willows) the hanging version of the ever-popular Midwest Mermaid Weathervane (suddenly occurs to me that there's something severely non-sequitor about "Midwest" and "Mermaid" in the same breath, but , whatever, she's a beauty) and these always iconic Pineapple Luminarias are going to work inside or outside, in any decor.  I've also stocked up on new shell-stuffed candles, some unique new picture frames, big, little and in between, the usual assortment of napkin rings, cocktail napkins, serving pieces, spreaders - and, of course, a fantastic assortment of mermaids (see pix up top).  Mermaids are the big icon this year in home decor, and we've got them sculpted, painted, molded, carved, metal, wooden, resin, hammered (physically, not intoxicated) and woven from seaglass. Really. Girls gone wild. Bring one home. Heads's up - or, Tails up - We came into a small but really cute group of "lobster" plates, spreaders, platters, and assorted random lobster...stuff at great savings, which we will passing on to you starting this weekend and until they're gone.
